We look forward to starting your day off in the best possible way with a delicious and satisfying breakfast. Being “foodies” ourselves, we try to stay away from all of the hyperbole and serve you a hearty breakfast with dishes that we hope you will enjoy, but probably would not make routinely at home. Our featured dishes include savory egg soufflé, stuffed french toast, personal mediterranean frittatas, lemon ricotta pancakes and more. Of course, if your personal preferences do not favor our featured dish, we are happy to serve you something that meets your wishes.
The Inn has two breakfast seatings that our guests can chose from, either 8:30 or 9:15am. Regardless of the choice of time, fresh-ground brewed coffee, a selection of teas and juices are available from 7:30 am. All breakfasts include a fruit course along with the featured dish. We are also happy to accommodate dietary restrictions wherever possible. With Myra’s background in nutrition, we can usually accommodate any dietary requirement with a creative and tasty meal.
It is with great satisfaction that we now offer our recipes in the new cookbook, “Morning in the Mountains” which is a collaborative work including 15 Bed & Breakfast Inns throughout the greater Asheville area. This beautiful cookbook is available at our Inn and truly provides guests with a large sample of superlative recipes drawing from this region and the hospitality of the Inns that comprise the Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association.
We look forward to serving you a great breakfast that gets you started for the day in exploring Black Mountain, the Biltmore, hiking or just relaxing on our porches and enjoying the splendor of the Blue Ridge mountains.
